In 2008 David Thomas Yachts designed a lovely little 30 foot cruiser / racer called the Link 30 one-design. She went on to perform well at handicap levels, but the age of the one-design was coming to an end and the racing fleets were starting to dwindle. Now Link Yachts are able to offer a range of sailing yachts with all electric auxiliary power. Easily driven hulls with good sailing performance are ideally suited to this concept with extended distances under power rarely on the agenda.
